Support the AHI

Like ‘57, I too made a recent (modest in my case) donation to the AHI as my way of supporting the Hamilton College community and so far, I am very pleased with the results.

AHI’s support of events like Prof. Kraynak’s lecture earlier this month as well as the upcoming AHI Inaugural Menges Lecture by Professor Stauffer of Harvard, and speeches and colloquia led by by Professor Pete Banner-Haley of Colgate and AHI co-founders Douglas Ambrose, James Bradfield, and Bob Paquette of Hamilton are precisely the sort of events that I hope we see will see more of in the future.

I strongly encourage other alumni and friends of the school to consider making donations to the Alexander Hamilton Insitute in addition to or in lieu of direct contributions to the college itself. Both contribute beneficially to the atmosphere of the campus.

Has anyone compared the programming of the AHI with the daily announcements on the Hamilton College website?

It's truly eye-opening. My smallish contribution is indeed well spent. Congratulations to Professors Ambrose, Bradfield and Paquette.

RE: Spectator article:They missed an opportunity for a group hug. After all, it is all about "feelings" and including everyone no matter what the content of their character. Characteristics / values such as honesty, hardwork, intelligence do not count. Only race and gender. Interesting that these proletariat types used a capitalist tool like a credit card as the reward. What a hoot! And having their own building will help them how? It will marginalize them further from the rest of the commune...oops...I mean community, on the Hill. Some pigs are more equal than others.
