Alexander Hamiilton Institute Announces Inaugural Meeting of Christopher Dawson Society
The Christopher Dawson Society for the Study of Faith and Reason will hold its inaugural meeting at the headquarters of the AHI on 29 January at 7 p.m. The Society, named for Christopher Dawson (1889-1970), the distinguished British historian of culture and the first recipient of the Chauncey Stillman Chair of Roman Catholic Studies at Harvard University, seeks to investigate the relation between religious belief and intellectual inquiry within the Western intellectual tradition. At the first meeting, members will discuss with Professor Douglas Ambrose C. S. Lewis’s Abolition of Man and John Courtney Murray’s “Is It Basketweaving? The Question of Christianity and Human Values” from his book, We Hold These Truths.

Anyone interested in the serious discussion of these issues may attend. Copies of the reading from John Courtney Murray’s book may be obtained by contacting Douglas Ambrose at alhaminstitute@gmail.com.

John Courtney Murray, and Gerrit Smith.
I go to the Hamilton College website and find this, "Campus Safety Hybrid SUV Is Easier on the Environment"
Enough said.
"The lecture is sponsored by the Diversity and Social Justice Project and the Social Justice Initiative and made possible with support from the Diversity Initiatives Fund."
My God. How many left-wing activist groups and programs can a small liberal arts college support?
Can anyone at Hamilton College tell me why a conservative parent would want to send his kid to a campus like this?
