A new poll by Zogby Interactive may not cheer professors. A majority of the public believes that political bias by professors is a serious problem and doubts that tenure promotes quality.  Skepticism of Faculty and Tenure  by Inside Higher Education reports, among other factoids, that more than 58 percent of those polled believe that political bias is a somewhat serious or very serious problem.
