Professionally, he is a regional institutional portfolio manager for Victory Capital Management, a subsidiary of KeyCorp, handling a variety of corporate & institutional clients including native corporations. He was one of the founding trustees of Pacific Northern Academy, a private non-sectarian independent school founded in Anchorage in 1996.
In addition to his professional interests Pete is an accomplished aviator and outdoorsman. He is the State Governor for the Soaring Society of America, a member of the Alaska Wing of the Civil Air Patrol, a certified glider instructor, and informal holder of the Alaskan high altitude soaring record. While at Hamilton, he was a member of the climbing team that made the second ascent of Mt. Russell in the Alaska Range.
Peter is a founding member of Hamilton College Alumni for Governance Reform and believes that the governance of the school would benefit from new independent trustees, greater transparency, more disclosure, freedom of expression, and diversity of thought.
Pete can be reached at (o) 907 564 0450 or (c) 907 748-7529 or emailed c/o our link or directly at pdb[at]gci.net
